It's a Bank Holiday here in the UK today and I've also taken tomorrow off work so feeling particularly pleased with myself.

I bought this shirt from H&M for £7.99 and they come in a range of other lovely pastel shades so I can see myself investing in a few of the colours.

Only problem is, it doesn't have a top button and I prefer to button my shirts/blouses right to the top. But my plan is to get my mother dearest to add a button-hole and button. 

She's got the skillz.

Another Lisbon outfit post...and the last one.

Unfortunately I had to wear flip-flops for the majority of my time there, my other shoe choices didn't really work - new creepers that I hadn't broken in properly so I got blisters and wedge ankle boots that didn't really work with the cobbled streets.

My boyfriend spotted this photo opportunity during another day of wondering the city - my pastel blue jeans (almost) matched the pastel blue wall!

Finally got round to sharing some of the shots from my trip to Lisbon with my boyfriend. Lisbon is an amazing city and if you haven't been before, I strongly encourage you to do so!

I meant to take more outfit shots during the trip but we were so busy taking in the sights and stuffing our faces with the gorgeous food and drink...that most days I forgot!

I realise it's been a ridiculously long time since my last post but sometimes real life just gets in the way...

I've found myself really drawn to white & silver recently...now I just need some sunshine to compliment them.

I had been hunting for this white satchel for what feels like forever, when I spotted it in my local H&M. Just one. Just for me.

The crop top is for my fast approaching holiday to Portugal in April, I've got a few high waisted maxi skirts to pair it with. And maybe once I feel a bit braver and have a tan, I'll wear it in Glasgow too....

The sun is out in Glasgow, could this mean....Spring is on the way?!

At the weekend, my boyfriend & I went wild at the first sign of sun and jumped in the car for a road trip to Larg's - Nardini's was calling to me.

On the way back to Glasgow, we stopped at this beautiful Loch just as the sun was going down (Loch Thom I think). Apologies for the photo overload but the lighting was just so pretty and my photographer (a.k.a my boyfriend) was on top form.

Glasgow was sunny on Sunday (I know!) so I went for a walk round Glasgow Green with my boyfriend and took these shots. Then we had the brilliant idea of stopping off at the West Brewery for lunch/dinner - I'd never been before but for any Glasgow readers, go! Great atmosphere, lovely staff and good beer & food.

I love this vintage shirt and its jewel tones...in spite of the fact my boyfriend calls me a "raver lumberjack" in it. 

Yes. I don't get it either.

I adore this kimono that I discovered on Ebay and entered into a serious bidding war to ensure it was mine. Now the weather has gotten slightly milder, it seems like the right time to start wearing it again.

The vintage bag was a gift from my boyfriend who is currently unwell so I am playing nurse this weekend....maybe I'll get another vintage bag for my efforts!

Some details I've been adding to my outfits recently. I usually find that I go through phases of wearing only gold or only silver jewelry, however at the moment I can't get enough of either of them.

I'd been looking for a good silver nail polish for a while and I'd seen Queen Michelle and her fabulous chrome nails but I'm unsure as to whether I have the patience/skills or long enough nails to handle the Nail Rock wraps so I'll stick with this No 7 polish for the moment.
